Description

First grown in Scotland in the 1960s, Golden Promise Barley is an exceptional grain variety. Learned from scotch, first distilled in 2009 and matured in American Oak casks, the use of Golden Promise has resulted in a Yamazaki as malty and rich. Often used as the base of Yamazaki flagship SKUs like 12YO, this well-rounded liquid stabilizes the flavor of Yamazaki when it comes to composing with others like Mizunara and Spanish oak liquids.
