Crafting exceptional Single Malt whiskies with a true Speyside character, the initial maturation takes place in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, then, a selection of the spirit is transferred into ex-Tempranillo red wine casks originating from Spain. Tempranillo red wine casks are rarely used for finishing and finessing whiskies. It is a black grape variety originating from Spain renowned to produce rich, full-bodied red wines. ”
