Description

The MeisterstA¼ck Around the World in 80 Days collection is inspired by the famous adventure novel by Jules Verne. The Solitaire LeGrand Rollerball in black stained wood, draws on the second leg of the journey from Bombay to Yokohama. Wood is chosen to pay tributeto when Mr. Foggs saves Princess Aouda from being forced to commit suttee. The main characters travel in this part of the adventureon a majestic elephant, which is featured in a cartouche on the cap. The cap and the barrel feature an engraved pattern with Indian, Chinese and Japanese inspirations. The clip features a red lacquered diamond card suit and the cone is engraved with a pattern and card suits, representing Mr. Fogg’s wager to make the journey in 80 days. The cap top is embossed with the length of the journey, 25 days from Bombay to Yokohama and 80 days in total.
