Description
The whisky is aged in white oak ex-bourbon barrels for over 8 years removing any unpleasant flavors and causing the whisky to become ripe and complex in flavor. The malt aromas and sweet refreshing fruit notes remind one of a pale golden and dry orange colors. The palate is pleasant and very soft. Fresh ground water from the wilderness of the Tottori prefecture is a blessing from the earth and is used to bring the whisky to life. It is a very tasty, mellow charactericstic of whisky deserving of the name Kurayhsi, the city of water and green. Each bottle is crafted with love in an environment with lots of nature, mountains and little population. High temperatues in summer and snow in winter makes the region perfect for making whisky. This whisky not chill-filtered.
