Launched in 2006, Hakushu 18 year old is made with naturally processed water from the Japanese Southern Alps and fermented in a wooden washback inhabited by lactic acid bacteria from the forest. The fresh, deep fragrance of this whisky, unique to malts slowly aged in the forest, is for the whisky enthusiast wishing to discover mellowness and depth.
